Physician Recruiter – Contract

Job Description

We are seeking a Physician Recruiter to identify and attract board-certified physicians for Oscar Health's telehealth platform. You'll employ advanced sourcing strategies to discover talent across diverse medical specialties, going beyond traditional job boards. Your responsibilities include: 1. Evaluating resumes and assessing candidates' suitability for job requirements. 2. Conducting initial interviews to gauge clinical understanding, bedside manner, and technical competence for virtual care. 3. Advising hiring managers on informed selection processes. 4. Guiding candidates and managers on market trends and recruitment. 5. Managing the offer process, from salary discussions to finalizing employment terms. 6. Analyzing recruitment strategy effectiveness using pipeline data. 7. Ensuring adherence to all laws and regulations. 8. Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have: 1. Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years specifically in Physician Recruitment. 2. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates (5+ years). 3. Extensive experience (5+ years) using sourcing tools to identify a diverse candidate pool. 4. Solid understanding of multi-state licensing and employment nuances (1099 vs. W2) in the clinical setting.
