PFS Representative, DME Collections

Job Description

Coordinate and facilitate patient billing and collection activities. Research and hold payers accountable. Resolve outstanding issues with insurance payers. Build strong working relationships with assigned business units. Respond to incoming calls and makes outbound calls to resolve billing issues. Work independently under general supervision.

Qualifications

1. One year of experience in Patient Financial Services - Collections and Accounts Receivable in healthcare. 2. Revenue Cycle experience. 3. Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and/or Waystar. 4. High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge. 5. Strong knowledge in the use of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
