Job Description

The Payroll Implementation Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for Deel's clients. The manager will lead the full payroll implementation process, ensuring that client data is accurately transferred and systems are properly configured for a seamless transition. Responsibilities: - Oversee project setup, working with the onboarding team and clients to organize kickoff meetings and manage the implementation. - Create, maintain, and manage project plans to deliver the successful rollout of clients' payroll. - Support project review calls, coordinating and delivering on project streams. - Manage changes to the scope of work and delivery schedule. - Define and set up client payroll processes, establishing payroll and data requirements. - Manage each client's payroll calendar effectively. - Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, status reports, and process documentation. - Configure interfaces, reports, and systems to deliver payroll for the first two months. - Collaborate with the client to sign off on the project, documenting client-specific needs and processes. - Generate reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data. - Act as the main point of contact for all payroll project matters for the client. - Report regularly to senior leadership, escalating issues as necessary. - Schedule and attend weekly client calls to report on project status and identify risks and dependencies. - Lead the end-to-end implementation of a global payroll system on time and within budget. - Gather requirements from clients to facilitate onboarding, guiding them through technical aspects. - Ensure all payroll processes adhere to local tax and labor laws. - Oversee the migration of payroll data from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy and security. - Develop and execute a testing plan to resolve system issues. - Implement change management strategies for a smooth transition.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and operations. 2. Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance in your designated location. 3. Experience with payroll systems and software. 4. Client-facing project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects. 5. Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus. 6. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. 7. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. 8. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
