Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Payroll & Benefits Analyst to manage payroll processes and ensure compliance at Bjak. This role involves overseeing end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Malaysia and other regional markets. Responsibilities include validating payroll inputs such as new hires, departures, allowances, incentives, attendance, and deductions. The analyst will also handle statutory submissions, perform payroll reconciliations, manage payroll vendors, and prepare detailed reports for HR, Finance, and management. Identifying process inefficiencies and supporting improvements in SOPs is also a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in payroll operations, preferably with multi-country or regional payroll exposure. 2. Strong understanding of Malaysian payroll legislation and statutory requirements. 3. Hands-on experience with payroll systems, HRIS tools, and spreadsheets. 4. High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving skills. 5. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. 6. Effective coordination skills for collaborating with HR, Finance, and external vendors. 7. A proactive mindset focused on continuous process improvement.
