Patient Support Specialist – Onboarding
Job Description
Join Nsight Health as a Patient Support Specialist and play a key role in our remote patient monitoring program. You'll be responsible for guiding newly enrolled patients through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand the purpose and benefits of remote monitoring. This includes: * Conducting remote onboarding sessions via phone or video conferencing to explain remote patient monitoring and its benefits. * Providing clear instructions on setting up medical devices and connecting them to the necessary platforms. * Educating patients on the importance of monitoring vital signs and interpreting readings accurately. * Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating complex problems to the appropriate support teams. * Documenting patient interactions and progress in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. * Conducting follow-up calls to reinforce adherence to the monitoring schedule. * Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment. * Upholding Nsight Health's core values of positivity, patient-centricity, and innovation. * Maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. * Performing other assigned duties.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need: 1. A passion for improving patient care with empathy and compassion. 2. A strong desire for patient education and ability to explain technical information clearly. 3. Prior experience in a contact center is a plus. 4. Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment and manage a demanding call schedule while remaining positive and helpful. 5. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills to build rapport with patients. 6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation. 7. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues. 8. Self-motivation and ability to work independently in a remote environment. 9. Proficiency in using computers and software applications; EHR experience is a plus. 10. Previous experience in healthcare, telehealth, or remote patient monitoring is preferred. 11. Familiarity with medical devices like blood pressure and heart rate monitors is preferred. 12. An active Medical Assistant (MA) license is preferred, depending on experience.
