Partner Solutions Engineer
Job Description
As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you'll play a key role in enabling our partners' success. This involves coaching them on our value pillars, use cases, and business cases, as well as providing expert architectural guidance. You will also drive the adoption of Cribl University tracks, NFR environments, and online resources. By aligning Cribl's sales activities with those of our partners, you'll boost deal confidence and velocity, ultimately increasing partner co-sell contribution. Continuous monitoring of partner status and contribution, along with ownership of partner-facing enablement programs and technical communities, will be essential. Collaboration with Cribl sales, partner managers, and distributors will allow you to create scalable, repeatable strategies. You'll also assist partners and customers in understanding Cribl's value, providing demonstrations and serving as the technical authority to highlight the business benefits of our solutions.
Qualifications
1. Experience collaborating with Channel Partners, including partner engagement, enablement, and training. 2. 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Professional Services, or Consulting, specifically with cloud and SaaS-based technologies. 3. Experience with Logs, Metrics, IT Operations, and/or Security, ideally within observability, SIEM, or data platform environments. 4. Hands-on experience designing and delivering technical enablement programs (trainings, bootcamps, workshops, or office hours) for partner or customer technical audiences. 5. Exceptional storytelling and presales skills, capable of translating complex data architectures into simple, value-driven narratives and teaching others to do the same. 6. Ability to conduct high-impact discovery sessions with technical and business stakeholders to understand current tooling, data flows, constraints, and success criteria. 7. Experience with proof-of-value or proof-of-concept projects, including defining success criteria, evaluation plans, and clear executive summaries. 8. Represent Cribl in the partner community through events, webinars, and user groups as required. 9. Experience working with multiple operating systems (proficiency with Linux is preferred). 10. Working knowledge of JavaScript and Regex, or similar scripting and data-manipulation skills. 11. Willingness to travel up to 40% to customer, partner, and event locations, including some international travel. 12. Knowledge of MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or any solution-selling methodology is advantageous. 13. Cloud Platform certifications are advantageous. 14. Must be based in the country or region where the role is posted.
