Part Time Co-op – SW Platform Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Part Time Co-op Software Platform Engineer! You'll be instrumental in evolving DevOps practices, embracing containerization, and contributing to our program's modernized Platform systems using tools like Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes. Collaborate within a dynamic product development team alongside seasoned Systems and Software Platform Engineers, immersing yourself in modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques. Gain invaluable experience in software lifecycle practices within a large-scale defense project, all while exploring cutting-edge satellite ground system technologies.

Qualifications

1. Must be a Senior or Post-Graduate with graduation / completion of studies in May 2027, or August 2027 in Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major 2. Experience in software development utilizing scripting languages such as: Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, or Shell (Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects) 3. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. 4. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
