Part Time Co-op – Software Platform Engineer

Job Description

Join Raytheon as a Software Platform Engineering Co-op and contribute to the development of DevOps concepts, containerization, and modernized platform systems. You'll utilize tools like Docker and Kubernetes in an advanced product development team environment, focusing on DevSecOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery techniques for a large-scale defense project.

Qualifications

1. Must be a Senior or Post-Graduate student expected to graduate in May 2027 or August 2027 with a major in Computer Science, related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). 2. Experience in software development using scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, or Shell (experience gained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects). 3. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance. 4. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
