Job Description
This Operations Intern position involves conducting structured interviews with subject matter experts to capture institutional knowledge across various programs. Responsibilities include presenting ideas for process improvement, synthesizing interview findings into standardized documentation, and identifying knowledge gaps. The intern will collaborate with functional leads and business analysts to translate knowledge into accessible systems, maintain documentation standards, and track interview progress. Additionally, the role involves collecting usage metrics for operational tooling and leveraging AI tools to accelerate research and documentation, ensuring consolidated knowledge integrates effectively with AI assistants.
Qualifications
1. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with at least one year of coursework completed. 2. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 3. Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance. 4. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex conversations into clear, structured documentation. 5. Ability to synthesize qualitative information from multiple sources into structured written output. 6. Strong organizational and task management skills with attention to detail. 7. Self-motivated with the ability to work across teams and manage relationships with senior staff and subject matter experts. 8. Confidence conducting structured interviews and stakeholder conversations in a professional setting. 9. Hands-on experience with AI tools for research, writing, or analysis; familiarity with prompt engineering and the ability to evaluate AI output quality.
