Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide virtual therapy services to K-12 students. This role involves evaluating students to determine their therapy needs and crafting individualized education plans (IEPs). You'll conduct thorough assessments to pinpoint specific student challenges and develop targeted intervention strategies. The implementation of personalized occupational therapy interventions will focus on enhancing fine motor skills, refining sensory processing, and improving functional performance within the classroom environment. Collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff is essential to seamlessly integrate therapy objectives into everyday school activities. Accurate documentation of student progress, along with strict adherence to educational and therapeutic standards, is a must.

Qualifications

1. Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist license and certification suitable for school environments. 2. A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a school setting is essential (excluding the internship year). 3. Proven ability to design, implement, and adapt school-based therapy programs to meet evolving needs. 4. Proficiency in using virtual tools/personal computers and platforms for effective data tracking, collaborative efforts, and clear communication. 5. Willingness to work flexible hours during the school day and across various time zones.
