Job Description

Seeking a motivated New Business Sales Manager to hunt and secure new business, overseeing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals. Responsibilities include building a strong territory by identifying and winning over MSPs, CSPs, hosting providers, and cloud-focused companies. The role involves leading technical sales discussions, conducting discovery sessions, presenting solutions, and guiding customers through product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs). Generating pipeline through outbound prospecting, participation in events, leveraging partner-driven opportunities, and engaging directly with potential clients is key. Driving account expansion through upselling and cross-selling after initial successes is also crucial. Travel is required to close deals, meet with customers, support critical opportunities, and attend industry events (30–50%).

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in B2B tech sales, specifically in cloud, infrastructure, SaaS, or hosting. 2. Demonstrated ability to generate sales pipeline and successfully close new business deals. 3. Comfortable leading technical and business-level conversations. 4. Willing to travel as necessary to finalize deals. 5. Experience selling to or collaborating with MSPs, CSPs, hosting providers, or telcos is a plus. 6. Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, storage, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms.
