Network Security Engineer

Job Description

Analyze current and future business processes and workflows to improve network security. Facilitate meetings with technical teams to gather requirements and prepare documentation, including BRDs, use cases, and user stories. Identify system integration points and data flows. Support PMO activities, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clear project goals. Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test plans and test cases. Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency gaps. Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with business needs. Support implementation to ensure solutions meet requirements, contributing to enhanced security monitoring and threat visibility.

Qualifications

1. 7+ Years of Experience in network security. 2. Proven experience in detection engineering and rule tuning. 3. Strong experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools. 4. 5+ years of experience in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell). 5. Strong understanding of Windows and Linux system artifacts. 6. Knowledge of Sigma, YARA, and detection rule frameworks. 7. Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework. 8. Experience supporting large enterprise environments.
