Network Security Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain network security solutions, protecting against threats. Responsibilities include analyzing network traffic, enhancing security architecture, auditing systems, integrating security tools, automating event analysis, and enforcing network segmentation policies.

Qualifications

1. Requires 4+ years in information and network security with a solid understanding of protocols and tools. 2. Must have hands-on experience in developing, integrating, and testing security solutions. 3. Knowledge of key network security tools like NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF, VPN, and Proxy is essential. 4. Ability to develop security policies and create custom detection rules. 5. Proficient in Linux administration and the Linux network stack. 6. Familiarity with SIEM systems and traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark) is needed. 7. Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation are necessary. 8. Must understand Zero Trust, network segmentation, and access control (NAC/802.1x).
