Network Architect – Senior Network Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Network Architect to design, plan, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure. Develop network strategies using current and emerging technologies, including wireless solutions. Translate business needs into effective network designs. Recommend optimal network hardware, software, and architectural solutions, ensuring compliance with standards. Maintain routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and capacity, troubleshoot network issues, and automate resolutions. Provide technical support and maintain system security. Lead enterprise networking projects and mentor junior staff. Ensure team follows processes, maintain documentation, and participate in change management.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent. 2. Expertise in configuring enterprise routers, switches, and firewalls. 3. Strong understanding of OSPF and BGP routing protocols. 4. Experience migrating SonicWall NSA to Palo Alto firewalls. 5. Ability to analyze business needs and propose technical solutions. 6. Strong documentation and communication skills. 7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. 8. Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Systems Nexus/ACI, and F5 Big-IP LTM. 9. Experience managing data center networks. 10. Industry certifications preferred.
