National Sales Representative – HDPE Sheet
Job Description
Drive revenue growth of HDPE sheet products as a National Sales Representative. Develop and implement strategic sales plans within your designated territory or customer segment. Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on distributors, OEMs, fabricators, and industrial end-users. Manage and expand existing customer accounts by understanding their specific needs, pricing expectations, and potential growth areas. Serve as the primary contact for customers, offering expert product knowledge, commercial guidance, and ongoing support. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Operations, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless customer experiences. Clearly communicate the features, benefits, and performance attributes of our HDPE sheet products. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms within established guidelines to maximize profitability and long-term value. Track sales activity, pipeline development, and sales forecasts using CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to contribute to continuous improvement and product innovation. Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer visits, and related events.
Qualifications
1. Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B polymer sheet sales, with a strong preference for candidates with direct experience selling HDPE sheet products. 2. Requires a proven track record of success in selling through distribution channels, directly to OEMs, or to industrial customers. 3. Requires a strong understanding of HDPE sheet applications, various fabrication methods, and end-use markets. 4. Requires a demonstrated ability to effectively manage a sales territory, build robust pipelines, and close complex sales opportunities. 5. Requires excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 6. Requires proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools. 7. Requires willingness and ability to travel regularly within assigned territory.
