National Account Manager
Job Description
Take the helm of full P&L management for key national and regional accounts, boosting sales, earnings, and brand growth through carefully planned portfolio enhancements, responsible financial practices, and crucial commercial negotiations. Create and implement strategic account plans for the long haul, utilizing in-depth market research, consumer behavior analysis, and operational insights while acting as the main point of contact for the company across marketing, culinary arts, research and development, supply chain management, and operations. Foster and maintain strong relationships with senior-level clients, positioning yourself as a reliable advisor who integrates industry advancements, creative solutions, and sustainability goals with the client's aims to generate lasting value. Success requires a thorough understanding of the complex foodservice distribution and broker network, ensuring seamless coordination, effective execution, and resolution of distribution challenges through close collaboration with field sales teams and agency partners. Within the company, drive cross-functional synergy, encourage organizational alignment, and ensure disciplined execution across CRM, forecasting, pipeline management, pricing strategies, budget allocation, and all necessary administrative tasks.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree 2. 10+ years of progressive sales experience within the food service manufacturing industry 3. 5+ years of direct national account and regional chain account responsibility, with demonstrated existing customer connectivity 4. Experience driving complex products through challenging distribution environments, requiring deep industry knowledge and executional expertise 5. Extensive experience working with and through broker networks to achieve national and regional objectives 6. Ability to travel 75%, including overnight business trips 7. Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
