National Account Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a National Account Manager to develop plans and strategies for business growth and achieving company sales goals. This role involves traveling for in-person meetings with customers and sales agencies to cultivate key relationships. The manager will oversee sales agents, national accounts, and sales resources to ensure profitable growth, fostering a culture of success and goal achievement. Responsibilities include managing industrial and commercial sales and marketing budgets, providing detailed sales forecasts, and hiring and developing sales agents. The manager will define sales processes, gather customer and sales agency data, monitor market activity, and collaborate with marketing to establish channel and partner programs. Key customer relationships will be managed, and strategic opportunities pursued to achieve sales growth within the geographic district, increase market share, provide exceptional customer service, and fulfill other duties to support business initiatives.
Qualifications
1. Requires 5-7 years of professional sales management experience. 2. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with experience in a similar sales position. 3. Industrial product knowledge is essential, with welding or related sales experience preferred. 4. Proven experience in exceeding sales quotas and expectations is necessary. 5. Must possess outstanding communication skills. 6. Ability to work independently and remotely is required. 7. Keen attention to detail is a must. 8. Excellent relationship-building skills are crucial. 9. Strong networking and referral-building ability are important.
