Mid-level/Senior AI Developer – Applied to the SDLC

Job Description

Join our team and work across the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and operation, all enhanced with AI support. Leverage agents and automation to streamline multi-step tasks, structure precise inputs to effectively guide and control AI, and integrate seamlessly with essential engineering tools such as Git, CI/CD, and observability platforms. Evaluate the quality and security of AI-generated outputs, ensuring that solutions are robust and reliable. A key aspect of this role involves understanding the underlying architecture of generated solutions, going beyond simply operating the tools to ensure comprehensive oversight and innovation in our development processes.

Qualifications

1. Solid background in software development and SDLC methodologies. 2. Demonstrated technical skills in at least one programming language and stack (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, Node.js, TypeScript). The ideal candidate will use AI to augment, not replace, strong engineering abilities. 3. Proven ability to interpret and explain code and architecture created by AI. 4. Hands-on experience using AI in various development phases: code generation, testing, and debugging. 5. Familiarity with automation tools and agents. 6. Capable of creating clear, concise instructions for AI to follow. 7. Knowledge of the AI-DLC methodology and its application throughout the development lifecycle is highly desirable. 8. Experience building multi-step agents with tool usage and planning is a significant advantage. 9. Familiarity with workflow orchestration is considered a plus. 10. Exposure to MCP or similar standards is beneficial. 11. Experience with spec-driven development is an added advantage.
