Mid-Level Drupal Engineer, AI-Enabled Platform Support

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Drupal Engineer to contribute to our AI-enabled platform support team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom Drupal modules. Responsibilities include: 1. Extending Drupal functionality with custom entities, views, forms, workflows, notifications, and reports. 2. Supporting multi-site development practices and environment-aware configuration management. 3. Configuring and theming Drupal sites for a responsive user experience. 4. Implementing and troubleshooting authentication and access patterns. 5. Assisting with state-machine-driven workflow logic and queue/cron-driven processing. 6. Contributing to search and reporting capabilities. 7. Integrating third-party services and APIs. 8. Identifying and implementing performance improvements. 9. Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers. 10. Providing ad hoc support for project planning and technical design. 11. Using AI coding assistants responsibly to accelerate development while preserving security and compliance.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Drupal Engineer who possess: 1. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Drupal and PHP development. 2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3. Expert proficiency in Drupal 8/9/10, including custom module and theme development. 4. Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies. 5. Experience with Drupal APIs, Drush, and Composer. 6. Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus. 7. Understanding of DevOps practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. 8. Knowledge of usability/accessibility standards. 9. Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies like AWS and Acquia.
