Marketing Manager – Strategic Events

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager to drive demand through strategic events. This role involves planning, standardizing, and executing a scalable portfolio of high-impact events. The Marketing Manager will own the strategy and execution for approximately 20–25 regional field events and 4 corporate marquee events annually. Key responsibilities include: * Focus on operational excellence, repeatable frameworks, and measurable ROI. * Shifting NRI from event volume to event effectiveness by building consistent processes, toolkits, and measurement models. * Ensuring each event has clear goals, target audiences, messaging, and post-event follow-up plans. * Partnering closely with Sales, SDR, Partners, and Leadership to align on objectives, audiences, and outcomes. * Developing and managing event budgets, forecasts, and spend tracking across the annual portfolio. * Researching, negotiating, and managing contracts with venues, production vendors, and third-party providers. * Optimizing vendor relationships to support scalability, cost efficiency, and quality. * Maintaining high standards for attendee experience while reducing bespoke, one-off approaches. * Defining and tracking event success metrics including attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, and ROI. * Leading structured post-event debriefs and reporting to capture insights and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field. 2. 5–7 years of experience in B2B marketing events, field marketing, or integrated marketing roles. 3. Proven ability to standardize and scale event programs across multiple regions. 4. Strong project management, budgeting, and vendor negotiation skills. 5. Experience partnering cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams. 6. Data-driven mindset with experience measuring event performance and ROI. 7. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 9. Experience supporting regional field marketing teams in a B2B environment. 10. Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce). 11. Familiarity with virtual and hybrid event execution. 12. Experience building event playbooks, templates, or centers of excellence. 13. Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams
