Job Description

The ACDelco Market Area Manager will manage a specific territory, actively seeking orders from Direct Accounts to maximize sales incentives and product program participation. Responsibilities include establishing ACDelco inventories to support sales, assisting in marketing initiatives, and helping Direct Accounts execute their business plans. The role involves expanding ACDelco's customer base, developing marketing strategies, managing customer retention, creating product displays, conducting financial analyses, and providing training.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience 2. 3+ years of automotive aftermarket experience preferred 3. Outside Sales experience 4. Ability to prioritize resources to maximize opportunities 5. Strong customer relationship and selling skills 6. High level of interpersonal and communication skills 7. Business insight and ability to identify new business opportunities 8. Ability to communicate product line features and benefits 9. Problem-solving skills and analytical abilities 10. Ability to develop and execute action plans 11. Entrepreneurial attitude 12. Knowledge of GM parts systems 13. Knowledge of computer software (MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 14. Willingness to travel as necessary (minimum of 50%)
