Job Description

The Maritime Project Manager plans and directs all onsite activities at client locations related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities include: - Managing and planning activities of onsite personnel. - Liaising between clients and vendors to resolve service issues and manage contracts. - Maintaining safety and environmental standards. - Coordinating logistics for waste transportation, including profiling, scheduling, manifesting, and loading. - Identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities for clients. - Ensuring compliance with regulations through inspections and reporting, resolving issues promptly. - Administering client and vendor financial obligations, including invoicing and contracts. - Promoting a culture of safety by ensuring personnel are trained and compliant with regulations. - Performing labor-intensive activities when necessary.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess: 1. A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience will be considered. 2. Two years of relevant work experience in addition to the educational requirements. 3. HAZWOPER Certification. 4. Experience with RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance. 5. OSHA 24-Hour Certification. 6. Willingness to undergo pre-assignment drug and alcohol testing as required by customer contracts.
