Managing Engineer – Security

Job Description

Lead and manage a global engineering team, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, meetings, performance reviews, and career development. Inspire peers, reports, and stakeholders to achieve objectives and embrace change. Innovate solutions to challenging security problems. Make collaborative decisions, test, learn, and iterate. Provide thoughtful feedback. Facilitate agile ceremonies, including standups and planning. Collaborate with product managers to inform product scope. Partner in strategy alignment across product portfolios. Contribute to software development, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure implementations. Balance leadership with hands-on coding to mentor the team. Serve as an expert in information security engineering. Help shape the architecture and design of the product. Satisfy all administrative requirements.

Qualifications

1. 4+ years delivering secure, scalable technology solutions with measurable impact. 2. 3+ years hands-on coding in production environments (Java, Python, .NET, JavaScript) with performance or security improvements. 3. 1+ years as a 'coach,' partnering with software engineers. 4. Experience with Agile methodologies (Agile XP), including paired programming and test-driven development. 5. Experience designing and maintaining automated testing and monitoring frameworks. 6. Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for distributed apps.
