Job Description

Manage Supplier Quality & Development processes and projects, influencing corrective actions and providing expertise on supplier qualification. Drive root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement programs to ensure a robust supply chain. Monitor performance through KPIs and manage relationships with internal stakeholders. Contribute to achieving organizational Supplier Quality & Development goals. Key responsibilities include: 1. Driving robust Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) across the supplier portfolio. 2. Influencing the implementation of corrective/improvement actions. 3. Managing Supplier Quality & Development processes and projects. 4. Providing input on supplier qualification/certification, assessment, and monitoring. 5. Analyzing quality data and developing part/supplier-specific resolutions. 6. Guiding root cause analysis and problem-solving. 7. Developing corrective and preventive actions for systemic process and product design problems. 8. Leading implementation of continuous improvement programs. 9. Managing processes for supplier qualification and material release. 10. Reviewing processes and metrics for work transfer and process change management. 11. Analyzing and recommending improvements to supplier qualification processes. 12. Ensuring the maturity and robustness of manufacturing and supply chain processes. 13. Monitoring performance through Key Performance Indicators. 14. Managing Escape Events and deviations analysis. 15. Managing relationships with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a supply chain operations environment. Quality Engineering or equivalent is preferred. A deep understanding of business context and strong communication skills are essential. Key qualifications include: 1. A University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree. 2. 8+ years of professional experience in a supply chain operations environment, preferably Quality Engineering. 3. Deep understanding of the business and challenges to meet internal customer needs. 4. Willingness to travel up to 50%. 5. Strong Machining/Mechanical Fabrications background. 6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
