Job Description

The Manager, Global Payroll & Compliance role is a crucial position that focuses on maintaining the integrity and compliance of payroll processes within a growing SaaS company. This role involves owning payroll accounting, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring compliance across payroll, tax, benefits, and corporate filings. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy across payroll systems and global providers, overseeing payroll tax filings and compliance, managing multi-state registrations and compliance, supporting the transition from a PEO to a broker-led benefits model, and coordinating global payroll and compliance through providers.

Qualifications

1. Requires 5+ years of global payroll and compliance experience in a growing SaaS company. 2. Requires a deep understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, and audit processes. 3. Requires experience with multi-state payroll tax compliance and registrations. 4. Requires exposure to sales tax, corporate filings, and compliance requirements. 5. Requires experience supporting benefits accounting and renewals. 6. Requires familiarity with systems such as Rippling and global payroll providers (e.g., Remote).
