Job Description

This role involves effectively communicating with both internal and external customers to foster mutually beneficial relationships and influence business decisions. Responsibilities include implementing strategies to improve acquisition timelines and customer pace of contractual actions. The role also requires investigating and resolving complex contractual matters through critical thinking and collaboration. It involves providing strategic advice on contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and policies to mitigate risks, and reviewing proposals to ensure customer requirements are met. Additionally, the role includes developing pre-negotiation objectives, advising the Collins Program Management Office on contract changes, and managing the change process. Travel is expected to be 10%-15%.

Qualifications

1. Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience. 2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance. 3. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. 4. Prior experience with US Government contracts, specifically with Design & Development programs (CPIF, CPFF, and FFP). 5. Experience applying and interpreting FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and other applicable U.S. Government regulations. 6. Experience preparing and negotiating proposals and contracts, including terms and conditions, statements of work (SOW), pricing structures, and fee/profit arrangements.
