Job Description

Join Paramount as a Machine Learning Engineer and take ownership of the visual gateway, shaping the initial experience for millions of users across our applications. Enhance the reliability of our experimentation systems, ensuring statistically sound visual tests. Develop components that personalize the look and feel of our platform beyond just content lists. Design and implement solutions for Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) systems and visual feature pipelines. Independently manage end-to-end implementation, from data ingestion to production deployment. Identify and resolve bottlenecks in team systems to improve quality and engineering velocity. Actively participate in design and code reviews, contributing to high technical standards. Set up and monitor online experiments to measure the impact of presentation features on user interaction.

Qualifications

1. Requires 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or backend software engineering. 2. Proven ability to own and deliver technical features or components autonomously. 3. Technical proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. 4. Strong skills in SQL and experience with distributed data processing (e.g., Spark or Databricks). 5. Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and writing production-grade, maintainable code. 6. Knowledge of Multi-Armed Bandits or Reinforcement Learning concepts. 7. Background in Computer Vision or image processing. 8. Experience in a high-scale streaming or e-commerce environment. 9. Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
