AstraZeneca is seeking a Local Study Associate Director to lead Local Study Teams (LSTs) in the delivery of clinical studies. This role involves ensuring studies adhere to resources, budget, and timelines. Key responsibilities include coordinating site selection and assessing operational feasibility, guaranteeing compliance with AstraZeneca's procedural documents, ICH-GCP, and local regulations. The director will plan and coordinate monitoring activities and contribute to patient recruitment strategies, ensuring the successful execution of clinical studies.
Qualifications
1. A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in study management within a pharmaceutical or clinical background. 3. Thorough understanding of patient safety processes and local regulations. 4. An advanced degree within the field is desirable. 5. Professional certification is a plus. 6. Experience in clinical study delivery operations is a plus. 7. Project management experience is a plus.
