Job Description

As a Lifecycle Specialist focused on Contract Management, you will: * Act as the primary caretaker of employment terms and agreements, supporting Senior Specialists and Experts on complex projects, including advising clients and employees on employment law changes resulting from Collective Bargaining Agreement updates. * Create, customize, and manage all employee lifecycle documents with precision and attention to detail for both internal and external Remote employees. This includes, but is not limited to, issuing employment agreement amendments, essential employment documents, letters, and forms, acting as a key part of Remote’s global HR team. * Offer advice on employment legislation and provide guidance on both basic and complex legal interpretations as outlined in employment agreements. Serve as a trusted consultant to both clients and employees. * Work with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in all employee lifecycle activities. This includes coordinating with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions. * Support Senior Specialists in managing critical initiatives that affect many employees across multiple countries and assist with HR and financial audits to ensure compliance with local employment regulations. * Develop and update global internal documentation related to Contracts Management, based on legislative changes. This documentation will be used by all internal teams. Proactively address internal and external inquiries on all employment matters, working closely with internal stakeholders. * Find opportunities for and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and overall enhancement of the customer and employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle process. * Securely manage and maintain employee data and confidential information, following established protocols and ensuring professionalism and discretion in handling and accessing such information.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Lifecycle Specialist, you should have: 1. Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance, offering HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions. 2. Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills. Ability to lead difficult conversations to positive outcomes while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. 3. Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English. Additional languages are a plus. 4. An aptitude for innovating and optimizing processes, with a consistent drive to implement automation and promote best practices. 5. Efficiency in operations, understanding the importance of thorough documentation and data integrity. 6. Tech-savviness, with the ability to collaborate asynchronously on various tools and adapt to new systems. 7. The ability to work independently and cohesively in an international, fast-paced, remote environment with multiple priorities. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. 8. Familiarity with communication, documentation, and project management tools like Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
