Lifecycle Marketing Lead
Job Description
Take ownership of Roofr's customer lifecycle, strategically mapping and enhancing it by pinpointing key trends, drop-off areas, and behavior-based triggers. Work closely with marketing and revenue teams to transform insights into targeted campaigns designed to boost activation, retention, and revenue growth. Create and refine multi-touch lifecycle campaigns through email, SMS, in-app messaging, sales sequences, and drip flows. Enhance results using segmentation, A/B testing, and thorough performance analysis. Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Content, and Product Marketing to experiment with messaging, creative resources, and key conversion touchpoints. Work alongside Revenue Ops/Data teams to maintain accurate customer and campaign data, supporting effective automation and tailored messaging. Oversee campaign reporting and analytics across HubSpot, Amplitude, GA4, and Pendo, meticulously tracking activation, engagement, retention, and upsell metrics, and applying findings for ongoing improvements.
Qualifications
1. Possess 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or marketing operations/automation, ideally within a startup SaaS environment. 2. Demonstrate a track record of successfully building, launching, and optimizing customer journeys across multiple channels. Be capable of owning the build process from start to finish. 3. Exhibit experience supporting both product-led growth (PLG) and sales-assisted growth models, focusing on activation sequences, usage-based triggers, expansion, upsell opportunities, churn prevention, and retention programs aligned with a fast-paced sales funnel. 4. Have hands-on experience with marketing tools like HubSpot, Amplitude, Pendo, Customer.io, or similar platforms. 5. Demonstrate a deep understanding of email, SMS, and in-app messaging best practices, including segmentation, testing methodologies, and the design, execution, and analysis of lifecycle tests. 6. Display strong analytical skills, adept at translating product usage and behavior data into practical lifecycle strategies. 7. Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to ensure alignment across various teams. 8. Proven ability to use AI tools for content creation, campaign analysis, and optimization, to accelerate progress, promote iterative improvements, and gain valuable insights.
