Liability Claims Associate, NY or HI Licensing Required

Job Description

We are looking for a Liability Claims Associate to analyze and adjudicate lower-level general liability claims. This role involves ensuring claims are handled within company standards and industry best practices. You will manage liability and/or physical damage claims under supervision, support other team members with complex claims, determine compensability, monitor reserve accuracy, and file necessary documentation. Effective communication with claimants, clients, and medical contacts is crucial, along with maintaining well-documented and accurately coded claim files. Responsibilities may include processing routine payments, prescriptions, and status reports for medical claims and maintaining professional client relationships.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED required. 2. Licenses as required, specifically NY or HI. 3. One year of general office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 4. Claims industry experience preferred.
