Legal Counsel, Privacy and Compliance – Maternity Leave Cover

Job Description

Seeking a Legal Counsel to support our Poland office, primarily focusing on privacy and compliance matters. Responsibilities include providing daily assistance with internal risk and compliance controls, regularly testing and auditing compliance controls for all product lines, preparing legal memorandums, drafting policies and procedures, providing legal assistance on employment and HR-related matters, conducting legal research, and supporting the team on contract drafting and negotiation. Also, providing legal advice to the Company’s product and development teams.

Qualifications

1. Strong academic background and a master's degree in law. 2. Admission to the practice of law in Poland is required (radca prawny). 3. 1 to 3 years of law firm practice or equivalent in-house experience is a must. 4. Strong legal research skills. 5. At least C1 in English and fluent in Polish. 6. High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask. 7. Critical thinking and innovation-mindset. 8. Professionalism, positive attitude and dedication to ethical conduct. 9. Familiarity with the handling of sensitive data and confidential information. Desire and enthusiasm to work collaboratively as part of a team.
