Job Description
Assume the role of Legal Counsel, managing a diverse range of commercial agreements including SaaS, software licensing, IT services, data sharing, and supplier contracts. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across commercial, technology, marketing, and operations teams to address legal needs and advance strategic initiatives. Lead negotiations with external parties, aiming for commercially sound and risk-balanced outcomes. Provide guidance on data protection, confidentiality, and intellectual property issues within agreements. Identify and articulate potential legal and commercial risks, delivering practical, solution-oriented advice. Contribute to the development of contract templates and internal legal processes. Stay current with relevant legal and regulatory changes impacting commercial and technology contracts.
Qualifications
1. Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with NQ to 3 years PQE 2. Experience in commercial contracts, ideally including technology and/or SaaS agreements 3. Background in private practice or in-house 4. Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset 5. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment 6. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
