Job Description

We are looking for a Legal Compliance Expert specializing in technology to provide comprehensive legal support to our Product and Engineering teams. You will offer structured legal advice on various requests, maintain ISO certification processes, and track regulatory developments, focusing on EU digital law (GDPR, ePrivacy, DSA, Data Act, AI Act) and equivalents in key non-EU jurisdictions. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing DPAs, managing data subject rights workflows, and collaborating with product teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical specifications. You will also contribute to the design and review of AI-assisted legal features, helping to build and validate legal reasoning components integrated into product pipelines and evaluating new product features from a privacy and regulatory perspective.

Qualifications

1. Master's degree in law (any jurisdiction; EU training preferred). 2. Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in privacy or data protection. 3. Demonstrable experience with GDPR, including drafting, advising, and compliance implementation. 4. Experience with ISO 27001 or comparable information security certification framework. 5. Comfortable working in a technology company, understanding APIs and product specifications. 6. Full professional proficiency in English and Italian.
