In this role, you will: - Meticulously review, organize, and maintain legal files, ensuring a high level of accuracy. - Conduct comprehensive legal and factual research to support our cases. - Prepare, review, and process legal documents with precision and care. - Efficiently manage a high-volume workload while adhering to strict deadlines. - Perform detailed file reviews and audits to guarantee completeness and compliance. - Leverage case management systems and other legal technologies to streamline processes. - Collaborate effectively with team members through screen sharing and remote tools. - Track and update case progress, maintaining accurate internal systems. - Uphold strict confidentiality of client and case information, ensuring utmost discretion.
Qualifications
To thrive in this Legal Assistant role, you'll need: 1. A Bachelor’s degree. 2. Prior legal experience, preferably in a high-volume environment. 3. A typing speed of 70+ WPM (preferred). 4. Excellent typing accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. 5. Strong multitasking and organizational capabilities. 6. High-level computer proficiency, with the ability to navigate multiple systems. 7. Comfort using remote collaboration tools like Google Meet, Slack, and virtual desktop environments. 8. The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. 9. Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen. 10. The ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
