Lead, Staff Platform Engineer

Job Description

Shape the platform and infrastructure that everything else runs on. Enhance the full development loop, including local development, CI/CD, deployment, and production feedback. Define and implement standards for testing, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), observability, and secure delivery. Construct shared tooling, templates, and golden paths. Take ownership of secure delivery from start to finish. Stay updated on the evolving security landscape. Refine repositories and tooling to ensure efficient navigation for coding agents. Assess impact using DORA metrics and qualitative feedback from engineering teams.

Qualifications

1. Strong software engineering background. 2. Experience designing and building internal platforms. 3. Deep experience with CI/CD, automated testing, IaC, and developer tooling. 4. Strong grasp of modern software security and secure delivery practices (shift-left / SecDevOps). 5. A product mindset toward internal tooling. 6. Real fluency with AI coding agents. 7. Understanding e2e test frameworks such as Playwright is a big plus.
