Lead Sales Commission Analyst
Job Description
Join Omnissa as a Lead Sales Commission Analyst and take charge of global sales commission programs. Your responsibilities include: 1. Overseeing the governance, execution, and analytics of sales commission programs worldwide. 2. Serving as the system administrator for Varicent (or similar ICM platforms). 3. Ensuring incentive plans are operationalized accurately, scalable, auditable, and aligned with business goals. 4. Managing commission reporting and analytics, providing regular insights into payments, trends, plan effectiveness, and sales performance. 5. Designing and maintaining complex calculation logic, workflows, hierarchies, and crediting rules within the commission system. 6. Overseeing system integrations with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP, payroll, and financial systems. 7. Managing UAT, plan rollouts, mid-year changes, and annual plan refreshes. 8. Establishing robust controls around data integrity, auditability, version control, and change management. 9. Producing regular commission reports (monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc). 10. Developing executive-level dashboards and analyses.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have: 1. 8+ years of experience in sales compensation, commissions, FP&A, or revenue operations. 2. Proven experience leading complex, multi-plan commission structures. 3. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency. 4. Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, executive-level insights. 5. Hands-on experience with Varicent (administration, configuration, plan modeling). 6. Experience with other incentive compensation management tools (e.g., Xactly, Callidus). 7. Data analysis and visualization experience (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Alteryx, etc.). 8. Experience supporting SaaS, subscription-based, or recurring revenue models. 9. Familiarity with ASC 606 commission capitalization and amortization. 10. Experience scaling commission processes in high-growth or global organizations.
