Lead Producer

Job Description

Assume responsibility for shaping and upholding the product roadmap and schedule. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining overall scope and quality. Expertly manage resource allocation, establish project dependencies, and prioritize tasks. Own and drive project milestones and deliverables, partnering with technical and creative leads to align with project vision and goals. Continuously evaluate and refine development processes for enhanced efficiency and quality. Oversee cross-functional teams, managing scope and capacity daily. Collaborate with creative leadership to define feature goals and ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Establish robust relationships with stakeholders, publishers, and external partners, maintaining regular communication channels with feature teams and coordinating dependencies. Mentor and support team members, championing effective production processes and identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a producer or project manager role across full-cycle projects. 2. A proven track record of successful releases. 3. A strong understanding of the game development cycle from pre-production to release and beyond. 4. Experience leading medium to large-sized development teams. 5. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage clear, adaptable project schedules and delivery plans, applying appropriate project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks to drive effective execution across complex projects. 6. Skilled at guiding a game’s production through all stages of development. 7. Adept at preparing mitigation and contingency plans before problems occur within a team or project. 8. Experience working directly with external and publisher stakeholders. 9. Passion and enthusiasm for games and game development. 10. Effective communication skills across all levels and disciplines. 11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment.
