Lead Network Engineer

Job Description

HealthEdge is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to spearhead the design, implementation, and upkeep of our corporate network infrastructure across our global offices in India, the US, and the Philippines. You'll be instrumental in cultivating a culture of top-notch customer service, accountability, and continuous growth to ensure our end users are delighted. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring a team of network engineers, overseeing office network stacks, troubleshooting complex network issues, developing network documentation, planning and executing network upgrades, collaborating with various IT teams, managing vendor relationships, monitoring network performance, and driving network architecture decisions.

Qualifications

1. 7+ years of practical network engineering experience in enterprise settings. 2. Solid knowledge of enterprise networking technologies: switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN. 3. Familiarity with major network vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Meraki, etc.). 4. Demonstrated ability to remotely manage and troubleshoot networks across multiple locations. 5. 1-2 years of leadership experience in mentoring or managing technical teams. 6. Comprehensive understanding of network security principles and practices. 7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. 8. Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities. 9. Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. 10. Experience supporting globally distributed workforce environments. 11. Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are highly valued. 12. Familiarity with cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure). 13. Experience with network automation and scripting tools (Python, Ansible). 14. Experience with network monitoring and management software. 15. Customer service orientation with commitment to exceptional user experiences. 16. Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 17. Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across diverse global teams. 18. Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, dynamic environments. 19. Background or familiarity with healthcare compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2) and security frameworks. 20. Experience implementing AI/ML solutions for IT service management. 21. Previous experience in merger and acquisition projects a plus.
