Lead Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to provide technical designs for new features using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) methodologies. This role involves maintaining and leading the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will document technical architectures, workflows, and processes for clarity and reference. Actively contributing to the codebase (up to 40% of the time), you will focus on high-complexity tasks, technical enablers, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to evaluate and implement innovative technologies. You will conduct code reviews to uphold high-quality software coding standards and participate in defining technical priorities, setting the technical direction for the Engineering team. Additionally, you will support recruitment efforts by interviewing candidates to identify future talent and act as a Technical Lead, guiding and mentoring Software Engineers in their technical growth, encouraging learning and skill development within the team.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 8 years in a Software Development role including 2 years as a Tech Lead or Architect. 2. At least 3 years of experience working on SaaS applications. 3. Proven experience designing and implementing service-based architectures in production environments. 4. Prior experience with Online Payment, Payroll or Invoicing domains. 5. Prior experience with integrating third party solutions into core business processes.
