Lab Furniture Sales Specialist

Job Description

Join Avantor as a Lab Furniture Sales Specialist and play a crucial role in supporting the southwestern territory, including Southern California, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, and Nevada. Collaborate with local sales representatives to equip laboratory spaces with state-of-the-art furnishings. Engage with high-level decision-makers and various stakeholders to understand their needs and present compelling value propositions using advanced design tools. You'll be responsible for analyzing market strategies, nurturing customer relationships, and maintaining strong external partnerships with manufacturers. This role requires 30-75% travel to customer sites and meetings.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree is essential 2. Possess 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in laboratory, construction material sales, systems furniture, or related furnishings 3. Familiarity with products in CSI divisions 10, 11, and 12 4. Space planning and/or construction renovation experience is a plus 5. Strong proficiency in Excel and analytical tools 6. Hands-on experience with Salesforce and SAP systems 7. Project management skills and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit 8. Proven experience in building business relationships with owners and executive-level decision-makers, including architects, engineers, general contractors, facilities managers, and EH&S personnel 9. Capable of developing a compelling business case and delivering ROI presentations to all levels within an organization, including the C-suite.
