Key Account Manager – Balkan Region
Job Description
Drive expansion of EDCO's retail footprint in Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Albania. Build and nurture a robust network across the retail sector (both food and non-food) within the Balkan area. Dedicate 40% to nurturing relationships, strengthening bonds with existing clientele. Allocate 60% to proactive new business development, securing new retail accounts and broadening market reach. Spearhead and oversee tailored customer promotions and strategic commercial proposals. Manage project-based sales initiatives, including displays, planograms, and private label solutions. Draft, negotiate, and meticulously follow up on quotations, in close collaboration with internal teams. Analyze historical sales trends to refine and customize product assortments to meet specific customer needs. Collaborate closely with marketing, procurement, and supply chain teams. Represent EDCO at international trade events and during bidding processes.
Qualifications
1. Possess 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably within retail or wholesale sectors. 2. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge, experience, and a well-established network within the retail landscape. 3. Exhibit experience collaborating with international clients and navigating complex sales cycles. 4. Display a robust commercial acumen coupled with strong analytical capabilities. 5. Be a compelling relationship builder with exceptional communication abilities. 6. Demonstrate fluency in English, both verbally and in writing (knowledge of local languages is advantageous). 7. Be prepared for travel within the Balkan region and to the Netherlands.
