Junior Visual Designer – Generalist, Motion-Capable

Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Visual Designer to contribute to static and motion design projects, encompassing presentations, digital content, and communications for both internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Design Manager, this role involves transforming stakeholder input into refined, production-ready visuals that effectively convey compelling narratives. Responsibilities include: 1. Designing slide layouts, diagrams, icons, and branded graphics for internal and client-facing materials. 2. Preparing layered and organized files in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, optimized for motion production. 3. Assisting with basic animations, versioning, and refinements in After Effects, utilizing established concepts.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria: 1. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in communication design, digital art, graphic design, or a related field. 2. A portfolio showcasing clean visual design, presentation work, and some motion or animation-ready files. 3. A strong foundation in visual design principles, including typography, layout, composition, and hierarchy. 4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects; familiarity with Premiere is a plus. 5. Experience in creating presentation-quality visuals in PowerPoint or similar tools (e.g., Keynote, Google Slides) for class projects, internships, or freelance work.
