Junior Product Designer

Job Description

As a Junior Product Designer, you will: Design and deliver functional solutions within existing products, with the support of more senior designers. Execute with quality, following defined guidelines, and raise questions when the context is insufficient. Propose improvements when you detect clear opportunities within your scope. Use the Design System correctly, maintaining consistency in the product. Collaborate with PMs, developers, and designers during the design process. Support discovery, validation, and user research activities, with team guidance. Prepare clear handoffs for development with organized files in Figma, good use of components, and documentation. Ensure good basic practices of usability, interaction, and design organization.

Qualifications

1. 0 to 2 years of experience designing digital products (internships, freelance, or applied projects). 2. Portfolio showcasing a basic design process (wireframes, flows, prototypes, interfaces). 3. Basic to intermediate proficiency in Figma (auto layout, styles, components, variables, simple prototypes). 4. Familiarity with Design Systems and the ability to follow existing patterns. 5. Fundamental knowledge of responsive design and the use of grids. 6. Ability to organize tasks, ask for context, and manage limited deliveries. 7. Openness to feedback and willingness to iterate constantly.
