Junior Healthcare IT Project Manager

Job Description

Seeking a Junior Healthcare IT Project Manager to oversee workstreams within a large-scale EHR implementation. Manage critical areas such as Technical, Clinical/Functional, or Site Deployment. Facilitate collaboration among technical teams, clinical stakeholders, site leadership, and senior management. Manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure regulatory and organizational compliance effectively.

Qualifications

1. Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required. 2. Background in Healthcare IT (preferred 60–70%). 3. Experience supporting projects involving patient demographics, clinical data, or healthcare data platforms. 4. Exposure to healthcare imaging workflows (DICOM, radiology, CT/X-ray imaging programs) is a strong plus. 5. Proven experience managing technical teams delivering data transformation or integration initiatives. 6. Experience coordinating subcontractors and multi-vendor environments. 7. Strong risk management, dependency management, and governance skills. 8. Ability to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders. 9. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance through the Government.
