Java Tech Lead – Senior

Job Description

Become a technical leader in Java development at Compass UOL! This role involves guiding architectural decisions and ensuring adherence to technical, functional, and regulatory requirements. You'll lead end-to-end solution development, support the team with technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and define quality standards. Collaborate with Product, Business, and Architecture teams to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions. You'll also participate in incident analysis and ensure CI/CD best practices.

Qualifications

1. Extensive experience with Java 8+ and Spring (Data, Cache, Cloud, Batch). 2. Proficient with Postgres and MongoDB databases. 3. Hands-on experience with Kafka messaging. 4. Familiarity with Postman and Redis. 5. Solid understanding of Git and Git-Flow. 6. Knowledge of Azure Functions. 7. Focus on quality-driven development: unit testing and Sonar (metrics). 8. Experience with microservices and concurrent systems. 9. Desirable: Knowledge of Node.js.
