Java Engineer – Traffic Analysis Services

Job Description

Shape and develop data products within the data mesh environment. Design concepts for the enhancement, migration, and redevelopment of components and interfaces. Independently implement functionally and technically demanding requirements. Participate across the entire product lifecycle from conception to operations. Work as a Backend or Fullstack Engineer in an agile setup. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Computer Science (ETH, University, University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent education. 2. Several years of experience in software development as a Backend Developer. 3. Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot. 4. Experience with cloud technologies and container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift and Docker. 5. Familiarity with modern web technologies (e.g. Angular) and with data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake. 6. Experience with integration technologies (e.g. Kafka) and processing large volumes of data in (near-)real-time systems. 7. Experience with agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum or Kanban. 8. Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style. 9. Business-fluent German; English skills are an advantage.
