Job Description

Join Centene as an IT Data Analyst II and play a key role in enhancing health outcomes through technology. This position involves integrating, conforming, and profiling data to ensure quality and efficiency across various business processes. You'll analyze complex data, identify trends, and collaborate with business and ETL database developers to improve systems. Manage data source onboarding, analyze existing setups, and serve as a point of contact for data submission support. Develop scripts and reports using SQL and Excel, perform root-cause analysis, and present findings to leadership. Manage multiple tasks, engage in data profiling, and communicate insights to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all policies and standards, contributing to Centene's mission of transforming community health.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) 2. 2-4 years of related experience 3. Experience with Big Data 4. Data Processing Experience with Data Manipulation 5. Data Mining Experience with Agile Software Development 6. Proven ability to write SQL to extract and analyze data in Snowflake preferred 7. Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., filtering, pivots, lookups) to support analysis and reporting preferred 8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from data and make recommendations preferred 9. Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge of HEDIS, clinical quality and supplemental data 10. Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions 11. Intermediate - Ability to work independently 12. Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present information and respond professionally to questions from cross-functional departments and external partners.
