Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking an Interior Designer to provide design support to Key Account Executives (KAEs) across various projects. You will partner with KAEs in client engagements, assessing project needs, planning spaces, specifying furniture, and developing workplace solutions. You'll actively promote interior design services through presentations, drawings, and visualizations, representing the company in industry events. Responsibilities include conducting client interviews and site visits, defining project scope, establishing budgets, and developing innovative design solutions that meet client needs, align with brand identity, and integrate furniture standards. You will execute detailed space plans and furniture specifications using CET, AutoCAD, and CAP.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or 6-7 years of related experience. 2. 5+ years of experience in interior design, space planning, and furniture specification. 3. Proficiency in CET, AutoCAD, CAP 2020, and Microsoft Office Suite. 4. Experience creating interior finish selections and color/material presentations. 5. Strong understanding of workplace design principles. 6. Ability to travel locally (less than 10%). 7. Proficiency in space planning and applicable codes. 8. Strong technical skills in relevant design software. 9. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritizing based on deadlines. 10. Experience collaborating with design teams and project managers. 11. Ability to lead projects from concept to occupancy. 12. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 13. Detail-oriented with strong organization. 14. Collaborative mindset within internal teams. 15. Consultative approach to client engagement. 16. Understanding of workplace design strategy and business considerations. 17. Knowledge of building codes and regulations. 18. Ability to perform under pressure. 19. NCIDQ certification preferred.
