Integration Controller – CSP

Job Description

Join Cobalt Service Partners as an Integration Controller and lead the financial integration efforts for newly acquired businesses. You'll play a crucial role in mapping and aligning charts of accounts, preparing opening balance sheets, and leading system cutovers and ERP onboarding. This role also involves driving improvements in the month-end close process and standardizing it across portfolio companies. Identify and resolve any legacy accounting issues or process gaps within acquired businesses. Assist in purchase price allocation (PPA) schedules, ensuring fair value adjustments and accurate opening balance sheet entries. Develop a deep understanding of ASC 805 (purchase accounting), with a willingness to learn being key.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 2. 8+ years of relevant experience, with public accounting and controller experience considered a plus. 3. CPA preferred. 4. Experience with M&A transactions. 5. Significant knowledge of GAAP. 6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 7. Experience with a range of financial tech stack applications preferred. 8. Team-oriented with a passion for growing and scaling a business over the next 5-10 years. 9. High learning agility and eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 10. Unquestionable integrity. 11. Ability to collaborate proactively with multiple stakeholders and possess excellent communication skills. 12. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
